Passion's Sunset
by C. Mullins
Hanging majestically low, yet so high speak it's beauties.
A springtime yearning glow, as colors sing their duties.
Massaging soul and mind, begs to shed chilled season.
It whispers golden shine, it lures you beyond reason.
Lingering it's capture, embracing all that follows.
Teasing with soft rapture, as darkness fills spring hollows.
Obligingly it does so, spring passions want no sorrow.
Nocturnal peace surrender, bowing towards tomorrow.
