Morris the loudmouth mechanic was removing the cylinder heads from the motor of a car when he spotted a well-known heart surgeon, waiting for his car.

"Hey, Doctor," Morris shouted across the garage, "come over here, would ya?"

The surgeon, a bit surprised, walked over to the car Morris was working on.

"So, Mr. Fancy Doctor," said Morris, who was in an argumentative mood. "Look at this. I too open hearts, take valves out, grind them, put in new parts, put it all back together again. And when I'm done, this baby will purr like a kitten.

"So why do you get the big bucks, when you 'n' I are basically doing the same work?"

The surgeon leaned over, close to Morris the loudmouth's ear.

The doctor whispered, "Try doing it with the engine running."
