      Polyprobe DNA Dendrimers

Polyprobe DNA dendrimers provide a generic method for amplifying signal and have general utility in nucleic acid blot assays. Independent of the signal molecule, the DNA dendrimers amplify that signal by binding multiple labeled oligonucleotides. We routinely achieve greater than 100 fold signal enhancement. We have developed a generic method that utilizes existing protocols for both hybridization and signal development, that produces greater than 100 fold enhancement, and is expected to be widely accepted and utilized.
